Privacy
Your work stays on your PC.
Zhiyin has no account and no server of its own. Here is what the app keeps, what it sends and to whom, and what this website measures.
The app
- Conversations and settings
-
Saved on your computer, in
%APPDATA%\Zhiyin. Nothing is uploaded to us: there is nowhere to upload it to. - Your keys
- Kept in Windows Credential Manager, where Windows keeps passwords. Each key is sent only to the service it belongs to.
- What reaches the AI model
- Your messages, and what Zhiyin reads to do the task, are sent to OpenRouter and the model provider you chose, under their own privacy terms. Pick a model whose provider you trust with the work.
- Services you connect
- A connector such as Tavily, GitHub or alphaXiv receives only what a task sends it. Zhiyin asks you before it uses one, unless you allowed that tool for the conversation.
- Web pages it opens
- Zhiyin browses with Edge or Chrome on your PC. The sites it opens see an ordinary visit from your computer.
- Spelling
- Checked on your computer, with dictionaries that come with the app.
This website
- Visit counts
- The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not follow you across sites.
- Hosting
- The site is served by Cloudflare. Downloads come from GitHub, where the source and the releases live.
- If you write to contact@zhiyinagent.app, your message is used only to answer you.
